A variety of events are being planned for on the Otago University campus and around New Zealand, these include: Dunedin, Oamaru, Central Otago - Wanaka, Queenstown, Alexandra; Southland - Invercargill and Gore; Canterbury - Christhurch and Timaru; Wellington and Melbourne Australia. Come join us

2008 Events
December 17 7:30 pm Messiah Part 1: The Birth of Christ with chamber orchestra. Soloists: Soprano Rae Shurbutt, Counter-Tenor Damian Peyroux, Tenor Dominique Peyroux and Bass Iain Fraser. Conductor: Greg Peyroux. All proceeds donated for Habitat for Humanity.

11 2:30pm Christmas Carols with the Dunedin Symphonic Wind Band, Lady Thorn Dell, Port Chalmers
November 5 7pm Choral Fireworks Dunedin Railway Station.Cantores Choir and chamber orchestra present Mozart's attractive and cheerful Missa Brevis in Bb (KV 275), the main feature of a recital of exciting choral music. This recital will present some of the highlights from this semester's recital programme taken on tour around the south island. It is also a fine way to farewell some of our students, heading home. The soloists include departing students: Brittany Starr (Oregon, USA), Megan France (voice student University of Denver, Colorado, USA) and Cantores regulars Dominique Peyroux and Peter Tozer. Other items include: works by kiwi composers John Ritchie and Douglas Mews, Dido's Lament by Purcell, Laudate Dominum by Mozart, Train Song by the King Singers and O Shenandoah, arranged by James Erb.
October 5 and 6 Singing for the University of Otago Blues and Golds awards
Sunday 2 October 3pm Mostly Mozart Recital. Concert South welcomes the CANTORES CHOIR of Dunedin to Southland in a programme of Classical and Romantic music.   10am Morning Service, Cantores sings the service and combines with the First Church Choir for Stanford's Jubilate in Bb. at 6:30 pm Cantores sings in the glorious acoustics of the Dunedin Railway Station, with guest soloist Emma Fraser and chamber orchestra.  The evening is a wine and cheese fund-raiser combined with the launch of our new wine label to help us for our tour costs.
